Your privacy

Only what the work needs. In practice that is:

• Who you are — your name in English and Arabic, your date of birth, and your address.
• How to reach you — your phone numbers, and an email address if you give one.
• Your papers — photographs of your identity card, driving licence, medical and judicial records, car registration, insurance and mécanique certificates, and the dates on them, so we can tell you before one expires.
• Your photograph — a picture of your face, used to identify your file at the counter and on your instructor’s tablet.
• Your blood type, if you give it — it is on the licence application, and an instructor may need it after a road accident.
• Where to collect you — the location you pin for lesson pick-ups.
• Your lessons — dates, times, instructor, what was taught, how you did, and what you paid.
• Your practice results — the theory questions you answered and the score.
• The route of a driving lesson — see below, because it deserves its own paragraph.

During a driving lesson the instructor’s tablet records the car’s position, so the school can see the route that was driven, how long it took and how far it went. It is recorded while a lesson is running and stopped when the lesson is written up.

If the instructor presses on my way, you receive a link that shows the car approaching in real time. That link expires, and it shows the car — not you.

We do not track you. Nothing on your own phone reports your position to us, and the recording is of a school car with an instructor in it.

The school talks to clients on WhatsApp, from +961 81 360 370 and +961 71 360 370. We send lesson reminders, booking confirmations, notices that papers are ready, balance reminders and renewal reminders. Messages travel through WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), so Meta handles them under its own terms.

We keep a record of what was sent to you, when, whether it was delivered, and what you replied — the same record any office keeps of its correspondence. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to advertise to you on behalf of anyone else.

Automatic messages are only sent between 08:00 and 18:00 Beirut time. To stop receiving them, reply STOP or tell the office; anything genuinely about your own lessons or money will still reach you.

Very few. We do not sell personal information, ever. It is shared only with:

• Our own staff, limited by role — an instructor sees the clients they teach.
• The traffic authority and the insurers we file your application with, because that is the errand you asked us to run.
• The services that run the system — Cloudflare (hosting and files), Meta (WhatsApp), Google (maps and notifications), and Prelude (the sign-in code sent to your phone). They process it on our behalf and for nothing else.

We may also disclose information where Lebanese law requires it — a court order, or a lawful request from the authorities.

Your file stays for as long as you are a client and afterwards while it may still be needed — a licence we renewed, an amount that was paid, a lesson that was taught. Records that carry a legal or accounting obligation are kept for the period the law requires. Lesson GPS traces are kept while they are useful for teaching and are removed with the lesson record.

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you everything we hold about you,
• correct anything that is wrong,
• delete your file, or
• stop sending you messages.

To have your data deleted, message +961 71 360 370 on WhatsApp, call 04 547 543, or write to [email protected] from the address on your file, saying the name and phone number on the account. We answer within 30 days and confirm in writing when it is done.

Where the law requires us to keep something — an invoice, a filing made on your behalf — we will delete everything else and tell you exactly what was kept and why.

Many of our students are 17 or 18. We ask for no more from a young person than from anyone else, and a parent or guardian may exercise every right on this page on their behalf.

Traffic to the site and the office console is encrypted. Papers and photographs are held in private storage that is not publicly listable, and the console requires a login with a role that limits what each member of staff can open. Sign-in codes are sent by a verification service and are never stored by us.

We count visits to this website ourselves rather than using an advertising analytics service. The counter records the page, the day and a one-way fingerprint that is regenerated daily — it cannot be traced back to a person or followed from one day to the next. No advertising cookies are set.
